kanbau is made for property developers who run several projects in parallel – from land acquisition to the end of the warranty period.
Software for property developers →kanbau runs either in the cloud or self-hosted on your own infrastructure. We operate the kanbau cloud with Hetzner in data centres in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany. Self-hosting reduces the licence fee by 10 %; backup and maintenance are then your responsibility.
Cloud and self-hosting →What sets kanbau apart is one consistent set of data: contracts, costs, invoices, defects and deadlines live in one system. The invoice knows its contract, the contract its project, the payment its invoice. Knowing where a project stands becomes a query, not an investigation.
Invoice processing →Your data in the kanbau cloud is stored with Hetzner in data centres in Nuremberg and Falkenstein, Germany. Connections are encrypted with TLS, and sign-in can be secured with two-factor authentication. You assign permissions per module, project and cost group, so everyone sees only what they need. When self-hosted, the data stays in your own infrastructure.
Support by email is included in all plans. Phone support from about 10 minutes, as well as work and guidance in your system, is billed by time spent.
Book a demo →kanbau connects to your existing systems through integrations: posting journal hand-over to DATEV, DocuWare, GAEB, Excel and CSV, calendars, property portals, and REST and webhooks. To SAP, kanbau hands over the posting journal via a REST endpoint and receives a confirmation of success. The integrations come at no extra charge in the respective plan, some of them in Advanced; the MCP interface for AI agents is billed by usage.
